about bb&m

Battered Boys and Men is committed to providing mental and physical resources to all young men who have been victims of abuse.

our work

Young men frequently struggle with a lack of guidance and direction, and society often fails to acknowledge their feelings, pain, thoughts, and struggles. Boys who endure abuse face uncertainty about where to go or how to seek help, and this is not their fault.

Battered Boys and Men is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports young men who have endured all types of abuse who have been neglected. We are committed to bridging the gap through comprehensive services. Our approach includes counseling and life coaching, where we not only support their mental well-being but also empower them with essential life skills. From crafting impactful resumes to teaching them about their unique position in society, we focus on aligning them with their life's calling.

We go beyond the basics: our programs are designed to help these young men learn to speak up, advocate for themselves, and develop strong character and integrity. Building their stature goes hand in hand with building their minds. We guide them in understanding how to view society and life, adapting to the ever-changing world. It's about equipping them with the tools to not just survive, but thrive. Our dedication lies in shaping resilient, informed, and capable young men, ready to contribute positively to the world.

Recognition

Our work has been recognized by former presidents, the State of Georgia, local governments, and community organizations. We have directly served over 1,000+ youth in Georgia of all backgrounds, and distributed over $70,000 worth of supplies to date.
