Our founder, and executive director, Gary Slaughter will be awarded the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, and will also receive a Doctor of Humane Letters for his work with BB&M and the Georgia community. The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is given to individuals who have dedicated a significant portion of their lives to volunteer service, contributing at least 4,000 hours. This award recognizes sustained volunteer service and civic participation over a person's lifetime. Congratulations, to our very own, soon-to-be Dr. Slaughter!
